We all know that fans love to keep a tab on what their favourite stars are doing and what their daily lifestyle is like, including certain tidbits they reveal of themselves but especially, their  fitness mantras. It’s as if TV celebs are trending on fitness and fans are just loving it!

Here is what some of the Tellywood actors do to remain fit! Karan Wahi hits the gym 6 times a week, Siddharth Shukla indulges in cardio twice a day, Kunwar Amarjeet Singh has got into practicing Martial Arts recently, Niaa Sharma follows a fruit and salad diet, Shantanu Maheshwari plays badminton weekly, Jennifer Winget believes in yoga, Vivian D’sena drinks a lot of green tea, and the list goes on and on.

Small tips such as “Cycling helps tone the body, Drink 10 glasses of water a day, Weights once a day are a must, Cardio is the best option available, Pulses in your diet are very important, Fresh fruits and vegetables bring a glow to your face” from the celebs themselves have really had a major impact on fans as most of the reviews on these articles have stated that fans are following these inputs too! They have worked incredibly with people and the demand for “Star’s Fitness Mantras” stories have really risen. Magazines, newspapers and websites have come out with a special space just catering to TV celebs talking about what they do to keep themselves in shape, on popular demand of the sections.

To further heighten the fitness craze, award categories such as the ‘The Most Fit Actor’, and, ’The Most Fit Actress’, have recently been introduced in 2012.  Actors like Karan Tacker, Krystle D’souza, Karan Wahi, and Vrinda Dawda had been nominated for these awards and have also won in this category on extensive voting and popular demand from fans.

A dream to become like their favourite stars is what fans seek and hence, fitness lessons from the stars themselves has really become a trend, proving to benefit both! Fitness trends seems to have taken over fashion trends as well! Tellytime awaits to see what different trend will be set due to popular demand from fans. As they say, the public has all the power!
